Emerald City Tour Guides began from a love of all things Seattle related... from history, to art, to food & drink, to the weird & wild culture that Seattle is famous for, we love it all, and we love to share it with our customers.

Our origin story

Jessica Ness, Owner and Lead tour guide, has been working and living at Pike Place Market for the past decade. Originally from Kitsap County, this Seattle transplant has a passion for all things Seattle history, making and drinking the best espresso in the city, and filling her belly with the most delicious food the Emerald City has to offer.

A former Tour Guide for the both the original, and current Market Ghost Tour, Jessica brings a passion for story-telling & personal approachability in both personality and historical facts, that is sometimes lacking in traditional big group format tours.
